TREE SURGERY & PRUNING

Tree Surgeon Climbing a tree using a rope and harness

Light and space can be an issue in some residential gardens and sometimes trees can grow in such a way that they start to look untidy.  Our services include crown lifting, thinning, reshaping and reduction.

We usually recommend more thinning and selective cutting of tree limbs as often all over canopy reduction results in needing a more frequent long term maintenance programme, which costs more money and loses the tree's natural outline and appearance.

We work to the British Standards 3998 2010 for all our tree pruning works. The standard for tree work was published in 2010 and details how tree surgery works and stump management should be conducted. If you have trees that need pruning, you should be sure to use a tree surgeon who works to BS3998.

If you have a tree that you think would benefit from pruning, we would be happy to provide you with a free, no obligation quote.  Please get in touch with The Tree Man to discuss further.  Alternatively, you can book an appointment directly online.
